Vesey & Company, PC is a Certified Public Accounting firm, which has been providing accounting and tax advice to its clients for 32 years. In addition, it is a firm that provides business valuations and crafts exit strategies and transition planning for retirement minded business owners. However, that is just the beginning. About Stephen T. Vesey

Stephen T. Vesey, CPA, CVA and a Certified Business Exit Consultant (CBEC) graduated from Salem State College where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In practice for 32 years, he was awarded the US Small Business Administration Accountant Advocate for Massachusetts in 1985. Besides focusing on personal and corporate tax planning, Steve is the practice's Business Valuation and Exit Strategies Specialist. He also is an expert witness. "The success of my practice is directly related to the quality of my staff. Each one of them brings a different talent to the table and each one is a wonderful person as well. Clients tell me how comfortable my staff makes them feel." Steve enjoys his involvement with numerous charitable organizations and non-profits while sitting on multiple boards of directors. His six children have given him ten grandchildren, but he still manages to find time for golf.

Dan Rich

Dan is a graduate of Northeastern University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with dual concentrations in Accounting and Finance. He has over 15 years of experience in public and corporate accounting. Dan has held controllerships in the software, nutrition and motorcycle dealership industries, playing a key role in mergers and acquisitions in each of those industries. In addition to his corporate experience, Dan prepares financial statements, budgets, projections, tax returns for all entity types, and is a consultant to all financial aspects of business. Dan is currently working toward the Certified Business Exit Consultant designation.

Susan Weeks

Susan A. Weeks, CPA, CVA, CGFM

Susan A. Weeks, CPA, CVA, CGFM is a graduate of Merrimack College where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with dual concentrations in Accounting and Finance. She has become the firm's Business Valuation Specialist and is active in the exit planning and succession arena. Susan has more than ten years of accounting, auditing and tax experience. She is an alumni of Deloitte where she spent 7 years in the audit department while obtaining her designation as a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Government Financial Manager. Susan has been with the company since 2006, and obtained her designation as a Certified Valuation Analyst.

Andrew Hale

Andrew Hale, MBA

Andrew M. Hale, MBA is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Isenberg School of Management. He has been with the company for over 5 years. During that time he obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from Salem State College and is currently in the process of obtaining his certification as a Certified Public Accountant.

Susan Oliveira

Susan N. Oliveira

Susan is a graduate of Salem State College where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. She is a Certified Bookkeeper with over 20 years of experience and is an avid QuickBooks users. Susan also has 12 years of experience in the preparation of corporate and personal tax returns, payroll and payroll returns, and financial statements. In addition, Susan has over 10 years of experience in the performance of audits for broker/dealers and not-for-profit organizations.

Jean Evans

Jean Evans

Jean is a graduate of Merrimack College where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. She has more than 20 years of business experience and currently serves as the Practice Administrator for the company. Jean's background includes business consulting, taxation and accounting system implementation. She is also certified as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor and serves as the company's medical practice specialist.

Jean Sabean

Jean Sabean

Jean is a graduate of Wittenberg University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She has been with the company for over 5 years and is the company's in-house bookkeeper performing accounts payable, bank reconciliation and various QuickBooks functions for clients. Jean is also an expert in on-line communication with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Internal Revenue Service for payment of sales and meals tax, payroll tax and corporate filings/payments. In addition, Jean is a Notary Public.

Jill Melville

Jill Melville

Jill has over 20 years of experience in customer service. She currently serves as Mr. Vesey's Administrative Assistant and will be able to coordinate any scheduling requests for Mr. Vesey. Jill is also in charge of the billing and accounts receivable process at Vesey & Company, PC and can answer any of your billing inquiries.

Jennifer Piscitello

Jennifer L. Piscitello, CPA, MBA

Jennifer is a graduate of Babson College where she obtained her Masters in Business Administration and a graduate of Plattsburgh State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Jennifer has more than ten years of accounting, auditing, tax, financial statement preparation and consulting experience. She has been with the company since 2010 and previously worked for a regional CPA firm in Boston where she obtained her designation as a Certified Public Accountant. In addition, Jennifer is also active in the exit planning and succession arena.
